Antibacterial test of water-absorbent resin
This is the testing method conducted with reference to the "Testing Method for Antibacterial Performance of Water-Absorbent Resins" by the Japan Hygiene Materials Industry Association and the Water-Absorbent Resin Industry Association.
JIS L 1902 (Hello Method)
This is a test to examine the presence or absence of antibacterial properties in textile products from the halo (growth inhibition zone) around the sample. It is conducted for screening purposes to determine whether there is an effect on suppressing bacterial growth. It is also possible to conduct the test using a liquid. In that case, it is common to impregnate the liquid into a paper disk for use.
